Hi, welcome to Be Free!

I’m Dani Nguyen (Win), a psychiatric mental health physician associate (PA-C) who helps adults with anxiety, depression, complex trauma, PTSD, and other mood disorders improve their lives through a personalized mental health treatment.

With extensive experience in treating men, women, minorities, and LGBTQIA+ adults with mental health, complex struggles and co-morbid conditions, I believe that true healing begins when the patient and provider are a team; treating the patient as a whole – mind + body. Being a minority, growing up struggling to find my place in this world, and witnessing my family’s own mental health challenges, is what informs my work with my patients. My biggest strength is being a collaborative, compassionate listener that explains complex, mental-health concepts well. I understand, I care, and I want what’s best for you and your journey so we can get you feeling better!

If you’re looking for a trusted advisor to your mental health who will:

  • Listen to you

  • Offer treatment that gets to the root of the problem

  • Consider medication AN option, not the ONLY option

Then you’re in the right place.

“Hope is important because it can make the present moment less difficult to bear.”

— Thich Nhat Hanh

My Areas of Focus

  • Daily life can feel unbearable, and even simple tasks may trigger paralyzing fear. The frantic energy in our minds leaves us exhausted and struggling to focus, robbing us of the joys of the present moment. Although we may long to socialize, the constant tension often leads to feelings of isolation, avoidance, and helplessness.

I can help you feel lighter, clearer, and more like yourself—through a treatment plan specifically tailored to your needs.

  • When we're navigating the aftermath of trauma—whether from our upbringing or recent experiences—each day can feel like an uphill battle. We may feel like a shell of ourselves: hollow yet overwhelmed by emotions. Our minds and bodies often want to shut down as our nervous system struggles to find safety. The responses of flight, fight, freeze, or fawn become the norm, and self-love can feel unattainable, as if it's reserved for others.

It's important to remember that you're not alone in these feelings, and it is possible to regain a sense of safety and confidence. I can help you build resilience in the face of trauma, partnering with you on your journey to rediscover yourself.

  • We feel heavy, weary, and out of control. Activities that once brought us joy no longer hold the same appeal, and simply getting out of bed in the morning can feel exhausting. Our days often lack purpose, leaving us with a sense of numbness and apathy that feels painfully heavy. At times, our own thoughts can become terrifying, yet escaping them seems impossible.

But our light can be found again, and purpose can be rediscovered—or, as often happens, a new purpose can emerge. I can help you feel human again, honoring the emotions of our existence while staying grounded, and walking alongside you on your way.

My Approach

Being an integrative provider means that I offer several methods outside of just medication management and therapy to get you feeling better.
